What is collected
The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. Nothing else is asked for.
Providing the information is voluntary. Without a name, an email address and a message we cannot reply to you. There is no other consequence of not providing it.
The server also records ordinary log data for every request: IP address, time, the address requested and the browser identifier. These arise automatically and are not used to track visitors.
What the data is used for
Information sent through the form is used only to reply to your message. It is not used for marketing and it is not combined with other data.
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
The legal basis is legitimate interest: when you send a message, we have a justified need to answer it.
How long the data is kept
Messages are kept for one year, unless a customer relationship or another reason to keep them longer arises. Server logs are retained according to the hosting provider's own practice.
Who the data is disclosed to
The data is not sold, rented or passed on.
The site runs on domainhotelli.fi servers within the EU, and the provider processes the data as technical maintainer. The data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA.
The site uses no external services. Every part of the page — the fonts included — comes from this same server, so your browser contacts no one else's server.
Cookies
The site uses two cookies, and both relate only to how the site works: the language choice lasts for the session and the theme choice for a year.
There are no tracking cookies, no analytics and no ad networks.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to request deletion, to request restriction of processing, and to object to processing. Requests to info@jake-edward.com.
The right to data portability applies to processing based on consent or a contract, and therefore does not apply here.
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi).
